Poetry has never been particularly good at paying the electricity bill. I have had a stern conversation with it. Nothing changed.
This place exists because people keep showing up with words, pictures, kindness, and whatever they can spare. Your support helps keep The Loud Silence online and gives other voices somewhere to be heard.

Hosting. The work of caring for this website. A growing home for poems, art, member profiles, and conversations that deserve somewhere to stay. The practical things are not particularly glamorous. Neither is a door hinge. Try keeping a door open without one.
Contributions support this independent creative community. They do not purchase a book, premium membership, publication, or a louder voice than anyone else’s.

Share a page with someone who needs it. Read a new writer. Leave a thoughtful comment. Tell an artist what stayed with you. A little attention can be a very large gift when somebody has spent years feeling invisible.
