THE LOUD SILENCE / SUPPORTER MEMBERSHIP
A smaller room. A little more of me.
Some rooms ask you to be impressive. This one asks you to pull up a chair.
My friends, this is the corner of The Loud Silence for the people helping keep the lights on—and for the poems that prefer the company of a few good souls to the noise of a very large internet.
Bring your unfinished self. I have been bringing mine for years. Nobody has asked for a refund yet.
What will be waiting inside
Free books. More room on the inside.
A growing selection of my books in digital form, included with membership. Something to keep beside you on the evenings when the world has too many teeth.
Early poems, before the crowd arrives.
Read new poems before their public release. You get the first knock at the door, while the ink is still making up its mind.
Unseen poems. The drawer opens.
Poems I have kept back from the public feed. The tender ones. The strange ones. The ones that needed a smaller room before they could speak.
Unpublished work, without the good clothes.
A look inside work that has not yet become a book: drafts, fragments, prose, and the beginnings of things. Literature, before it remembers to comb its hair.
Spoken word, in my own voice.
Audio performances of my poetry, with the pauses, breaths, and occasional evidence that a human being lives behind these sentences.
A poem for you, or someone you love.
Members can request a poem about themselves, a loved one, a memory, or something they cannot quite say. Tell me who matters and why. We will agree on the details and timing; a heart deserves more care than a production line.
Free events. A microphone, not an audition.
Included access to member events, such as open mic nights and shared readings, as they are scheduled. Read, listen, or sit there holding your tea with heroic concentration.
A private room, and a little mark of belonging.
The supporters’ members area and a LOUD SILENCE premium member badge beside your name. A place to share work, talk, and help keep this improbable little home standing.
Books, poems, recordings, and events will be added over time. Available titles, release dates, event details, and poem-request arrangements will be shared in the room. I want to give you something worth staying for, and enough honesty to know what you are joining.

With love, and a rather unreasonable amount of ink,
