Who we are
The Loud Silence is a creative community at theloudsilence.com. For questions about your account or this policy, contact justinhatchett@theloudsilence.com.
Your account and the public member directory
We use the details you provide to create and manage your account, operate community features, communicate with you, and protect the site. Your email address and account credentials are used for account administration and are not shown in the member directory.
Directory inclusion is a condition of active, approved membership. Every approved active member, including free members, appears in Meet the Quiet Ones under their public display name with a link to their profile. You cannot hide that directory entry through a privacy setting while your account is active. Choose a public display name you are comfortable sharing. A profile photograph appears in the directory only when it is permitted to be public. Deleted, suspended, fraudulent or unapproved accounts are excluded.
What you choose to share
Your profile and account controls govern permitted biography, photograph, creative details and visibility choices. If a change does not save, contact us at the address above so we can correct it. Material you publish to a public area of the site can be read or shared by others. Privacy controls for profile details and posts do not remove the mandatory directory name and profile link.
Private information and communications
Private email addresses, phone numbers and private messages are not displayed as directory fields. The site processes account and community information through its hosting and installed services to provide its features, including registration, moderation and, when used, subscriptions or payments. Please avoid putting sensitive personal information in public profile fields or posts.
Cookies and account access
The site uses cookies and related storage to keep members signed in, remember preferences, maintain security and support site functionality. Signing out ends your current browser session, but your saved account settings remain with your account.
Your choices
You may update permitted profile fields and privacy settings in your account. If you no longer want your public directory entry, request account closure or use the available account deletion control. Some information may need to be retained where required for site operations or legal obligations. Contact us at the address above for privacy questions or a request about your information.
